"The Notebook" movie review
The Notebook" is a novel written by Nicholas Sparks. The story revolves around the love of Noah for Allie. The story begins with old Noah telling his love story to an old woman named Allie. Allie has dementia, so Noah patiently tells her a story written in his notebook. However, old Allie doesn't know that the story Noah is telling is their true love story because of her dementia. Old Noah keeps telling their story, hoping that old Allie will remember everything from their past. Old Allie begins telling the story of how 17-year-old Allie met Noah. It was summer when they met, and eventually, they fell in love with each other. However, a complication arose. Allie's mother didn't want Noah because of his poor life. Noah was just a construction worker, and Allie came from a rich family. Allie's mother decided to leave Seabrook, South Carolina, to separate the two lovers. But before Allie's flight to another country, they had an argument that led to their breakup. Allie moved away from Seabrook and met another man who made her happy. This man proposed to her, and she accepted. But suddenly, when Allie saw Noah's face in the newspaper, she remembered Noah and decided to visit him. They saw each other, and Allie saw Noah's house, knowing that it was the house of her dreams that she had told Noah about when they were dating. She was surprised to see the white house because Noah had actually kept his promise to Allie, thinking that she would come back someday.
"What do you want?"
This line had an impact on me while I was watching the movie. Although I’m not yet in a relationship, I believe that when you’re in one, it’s not always about what you want, but also about considering what your girlfriend or boyfriend wants. We have to follow our heart and listen to what our heart is telling us.
"The Notebook” is a beautiful and heartwarming movie that will make you realize that love can bring both happiness and sadness. If you choose the right person, love will grant you the best kind of love. Conversely, if you choose the wrong person, love will grant you a sorrowful love.
