Jesus Saw You
Jesus Saw You
Around 9 a.m., I picked up my phone in my room and clicked on the application, "The Chosen". Some of you may be familiar with this app. I opened it and clicked on Season 2, Episode 2, which I had not yet finished watching.
While watching the movie, one conversation deeply touched my heart. It was between Jesus and Nathaniel, Philip's friend. This was Nathaniel's first encounter with Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus said to him, "I saw you when you were at your lowest moment and alone."
"How do you know me?" Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you." (You can find this in the passage of John 1:48.)
I won't delve deeper into their conversation, but the message I want to share is that "Jesus always sees you when you are at your lowest moment and alone." You know those times when you're crying alone, feeling sad about recent events, or worrying about the future. Sometimes, we feel disappointed in ourselves because of a series of failures. We try our best but still feel inadequate in the eyes of others. It's a sad reality of life. These feelings can greatly affect our emotions and lead to breakdowns.
But remember this: Jesus sees you.
The good news is that Jesus always sees you. Always remember that God is with you, especially in times when you need help the most. God is always by your side, not invalidating your feelings but comforting you.
Application:
Therefore, turn to Jesus. He knows what you're going through. Talk to Him. Cry and rest in Him.
Conclusion:
Jesus always sees you. He never abandons you at your lowest point. And when you try your best for others but feel like you’re not good enough, remember that God is really proud of you. Never forget that.
